Le Comité national antiterroriste russe a indiqué qu’une femme non identifiée avait tenté de pénétrer dans le restaurant mais avait été arrêtée par un agent de sécurité. D’après l’agence d’État RIA, la femme, le garde et un client du restaurant ont été tués dans l’explosion. La police a précisé que les blessés souffraient de blessures de gravité variable.

Le quotidien Kommersant, citant ses propres sources, a rapporté que la bombe visait peut-être les clients de la terrasse extérieure et qu’elle aurait pu être déclenchée à distance ; la femme qui la portait ignorait peut-être qu’il s’agissait d’un engin explosif.
Le site du restaurant indiquait une fermeture pour événement privé ce samedi. La chaîne Telegram ASTRA, évoquant des discussions locales, a prétendu qu’un général russe y était fêté. Une autre chaîne, 112, a parlé de 17 blessés, d’un mariage et d’une explosion de gaz, des allégations qui contredisent les informations officielles.
Aucune revendication n’a été signalée. Cette attaque survient après une série d’assassinats imputés à l’Ukraine par Moscou, ce qui avait conduit le FSB à annoncer un renforcement de la protection des hauts responsables militaires en début d’année.
