Russian authorities said a Ukrainian drone strike on the Black Sea resort village of Arkhipo-Osipovka killed seven people, including three children, on Monday. Krasnodar region governor Veniamin Kondratyev said the drone fell on the beach and injured at least 40 others.
Separately, the Moscow-installed governor of Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov, reported that a Ukrainian strike killed four people in the annexed peninsula.
The total death toll claimed by Russian officials from the two incidents stands at 11, with dozens wounded. Unconfirmed videos on social media appeared to show a drone crashing into the beach in Arkhipo-Osipovka as tourists watched.
Ukraine has not publicly addressed the strikes. Russia said it intercepted 131 Ukrainian drones overnight, while Kyiv reported that a Russian attack on a gas station in Dnipropetrovsk killed three people.
